The trade of goods and services through digital platforms is regulated in detail in the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the relevant regulations. Businesses that provide goods and services over the internet are required to carry out their activities in accordance with the law and regulations; In this context, the business must inform the consumer about the delivery conditions of goods or services, the right to return and withdraw in accordance with the legislation, and inform the consumer within the scope of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and these information texts must be approved and kept in an appropriate manner.
Similarly, consumers also need to be aware of their legal rights and seek their rights in case the goods and services received from digital and retail sellers are wrong, incomplete or defective.
